Some people organise weddings. Others learn to listen to a story before it has even been told.
I learned the second long before I learned the first.

I was born and raised under the Milanese sky, and from an early age I carried with me an attention that, at home, was simply called good manners: knowing how to welcome someone, the right moment for a gesture, the silence that sometimes says more than any word. In 1992, straight after my degree in Political Science, I began working in corporate events — and it was there that I understood etiquette is not a set of rules, but a language: the language of making people feel exactly where they belong.

After some years spent exploring the world, in 2008 I returned to Milan to found White Tulipa: the place where this attention to others could finally become a method, applied to the most important day in a couple’s life. Seventeen years later, that same method has also become a school — Madame Etiquette Academy — because what I had learned by observing hundreds of weddings deserved to be shared with those who, like me, work to make others feel at ease.

As Beethoven once said, “Love demands all, and has a right to do so.” It is the phrase that still guides every project today: because behind every wedding that looks effortless, there is always someone who chose to give it everything.
